Playful family session of five

Meeting Shelby and her family was one of those instant connections that you just know is going to lead to something special. As a family photographer, my aim is always to make the session as enjoyable and interactive as possible. My main thing with family shoots is making sure everyone’s having a blast, filled with fun and loads of giggles. And wow, did we have fun!

The magnificent Supertrees at sunset, adding a magical touch to our fun-filled session. There was laughter, tickling, and even some impromptu dancing (yes, I might have joined in too).

Capturing the joy of Shelby and her loved ones in such a picturesque setting in Singapore was an absolute pleasure. It's sessions like these that remind me why I love doing what I do.

Every person who steps in front of my camera brings something new. Not everyone feels natural being photographed, and it's my job to coax out those genuine smiles and connections that I love so much.

At the same time, it's crucial that everyone can still feel like themselves. My approach is all about striking that balance—encouraging a bit of playfulness to capture those precious moments, while making sure everyone remains comfortable and true to who they are.
