A fun filled family photoshoot
Hi everyone, hope you are having a lovely week so far!
I just came back from a weekly trip to Singapore, it was the second time I visited after I moved in December. Somehow it feels like I'm just on a long break and I soon will return to Singapore, it's a very odd feeling:). We stayed at our favourite hotel in Singapore, Mandarin Oriental and yes there are newer and nicer hotels, but Mandarin Oriental has a very special place in our hearts, 13 years ago, before even moving to Singapore, I tagged along when my husband had to visit Singapore and that was my first encounter with a luxury 5 star hotel:).
Ok, I got a little sidetracked here back to this lovely family of four. I have known them and photographed them for several years, Jenny has always been very keen on my ideas and how to incorporate props and new locations to shoot at. This shoot was planned to happen before I moved but since life sometimes gets in the way, we couldn't make it happen.
So when Jenny heard I was coming to Singapore for a week, we quickly picked a date and lucky for us, that was pretty much the only afternoon with sunshine! Must be destiny, I'm telling you....
For this shoot I wanted to keep it simple, we have been photographing this family on the beach of Sentosa and in greenery. So I felt that a location with no distractions, just them would add nicely to their other photographs. So I suggested the stairs of the National Museum and we went for it.
I have so many gorgeous photos from this family photoshoot and I can't wait to share with you all, Jenny I hope you like your sneak peek (and I'm not jealous at all that you are on vacay in Thailand...not a bit....)
Have the best of days, you deserve it!
