Singapore family session
Family photographer in Singapore
All I can say is FINALLY!
Finally we managed to take some photos for this gorgeous family. When planning their family shoot (it was the quickest consultation between two meetings we both attended with SWEA Singapore, Anna is the chairman of our Swedish women association here in Singapore) we discussed several locations in Singapore and we were going for a more rustic feeling, not so soft and cute.
I headed over to the set location a bit earlier on the morning of our family shoot and luckily this spot was just around the corner from where we were meeting up. I’ve been photographing there for several family sessions lately and never really noticed it before.
Anna told me that they were not the most playful family and I always start my shoots with what I call the “Christmas photo” you know the one we send to family and friends for our Christmas cards. From here it was all playful, I will show you in a later blog post. Not playful….pffff….:)
All clients are different since and I customize all my sessions around who my clients are and what they like, and I believe that locations play a big part in the outcome of the photos. Lets’s say you never go to the beach, why would you have your session there?
I have always described my family shoots as relaxed and lately I have been thinking about that, what I mean by that is that there is no pressure, there is no wrong, and we should embrace the chaos in a way we might never do on a everyday basis. The kids rule at my sessions. It’s just that we don’t tell them that:).
Weekend is coming up and the first weekend in weeks that I don’t have a working weekend, instead I’m planning to buy a bicycle :) How’s that for a relaxed weekend haha
All the best,
