A family session in Mdina
Hi! Hope you had a lovely long weekend!
Personally I had such a fun weekend, hubby came back from his business trip in Las Vegas, I had 2 shoots and we had great summer weather (well at least if you are a Swede in Malta, not used to these warm summers :). I actually took the first swim (or should I perhaps say dip) in the pool for 2017, go me!
Ok back to this session :). I visited Mdina a few weeks ago (I pass it pretty much everyday driving my youngest one to school, can't believe it took me five months to visit...) and fell in love with the history of the buildings and thought to myself, "this is the perfect place for a family session with young children".
So the first family photo shoot in Mdina is done, folks!
I met Catherine and Richard and cutest Ella last Sunday morning and after trying to find somewhere to park the car (who knew that there was a Sunday market in Rabat that day blocking the ONLY road i knew where to find a slot...) and pretty much running (oh well, walking really fast then) to meet them, you know us Swedes, we hate to be late!
It was a still Sunday morning, the people of Malta had not yet woken up, which gave us plenty of room (as much room you can have in an alley of course) to be playful and just enjoy the moment. And that's what my photo sessions really are, a playful time where you spend time together as a family, no fake smiles here!
Ella did such an amazing job, being a model for the first time and you can really see that this is one loving family ♡
This is just a sneak peak from this session, more photos is coming up, so stay tuned!
Wishing you a lovely Tuesday,
